Job Description

Zing is a fast-growing pure play Twilio Gold Systems Integrations Partner.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join us in a permanent capacity and be the person responsible for marketing at Zing. You will report to our Sales Director, shaping the marketing plan together and then owning it, along with the budget to deliver it.

Your objective is to generate the marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and pipeline that help drive the next phase of our growth.

This is a hands-on role in a small, growing business. You will be expected to craft the content, run the campaigns and organise the events, while keeping an eye on the bigger picture of what will make the biggest difference to our pipeline.

This role suits someone with a few years of marketing experience who is ready to take their first step up into a Marketing Manager role, and who thrives in a hands-on, high-ownership environment where you make things happen with the resources you have.

We would like the successful candidate to start in January 2027, or earlier if possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver Zing’s marketing plan, working with the Sales Director to set priorities and targets, and be accountable for results measured in MQLs and pipeline.
  • Plan and run end-to-end marketing campaigns aimed at our ideal customers: technology and customer experience decision-makers, such as CTOs, Heads of Development, CX leaders and contact centre owners.
  • Own email marketing, including building, writing, sending (in Mailchimp) and reporting on nurture and outbound campaigns.
  • Create content that builds our credibility and generates demand, such as blogs, case studies, thought leadership, web copy and sales collateral.
  • Run Zing’s social channels, with a focus on LinkedIn, to grow our audience and support the sales team’s outreach.
  • Plan and deliver events, from selection and logistics to promotion and lead follow-up, including conferences, roundtables and partner events.
  • Own the Zing website and SEO, keeping content current, building landing pages and improving search visibility.
  • Manage the marketing budget, deciding where to invest, tracking return and adjusting as you learn.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director and Account Executives to hand over leads, using our CRM (Salesforce) to track MQLs through to pipeline.
  • Work with Twilio’s partner and marketing teams on co-marketing opportunities where they arise.
  • Report regularly on marketing performance, what is working and what we should change.

Skills and Experience

  • 2-5 years’ hands-on experience in B2B marketing (ideally within technology or professional services).
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a small team or with limited resources. You are not only used to large-enterprise marketing functions.
  • Able to think strategically, building a plan and prioritising what matters most, and then roll up your sleeves and deliver it yourself.
  • Hands-on experience of email marketing, content creation, social media and campaign management.
  • Working knowledge of managing events, website content and SEO.
  • Experience of measuring marketing performance against MQL and pipeline targets, and comfortable working with data.
  • Experience of working with, or contributing to, a marketing budget.
  • Excellent written communication, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively for technical and commercial audiences.
  • Experience of working closely with a sales team to turn marketing activity into pipeline.
  • Ambitious, hardworking, and eager to take the next step in your marketing career.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and get things done in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Fluent or native English speaker
  • Ability to travel for events and meetings where required.

Desirable

  • Experience with Mailchimp, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Canva.
  • Experience marketing to financial services or fintech audiences.
  • Familiarity with Twilio, CPaaS, Contact Centre, or API-led communications solutions.
  • Experience of partner or co-marketing with a technology vendor.
  • Previous experience as the sole or first marketing hire in a business.

Remuneration

  • Competitive Salary
  • Hybrid working
  • Auto-enrolment into our pension scheme
  • Salary sacrifice schemes like Cycle to Work
  • 25 Days Holiday (pro-rated) plus flexible Bank Holidays

Where and when

This is a hybrid role, with three days a week in our London (Paddington) office.
